18-19 October, Avranches, Les songes d'une merveille, walk and talks in the footsteps of Saint Aubert

Journées Saint-Aubert, with a cultural walk from the Mont to Saint-Gervais d'Avranches on Saturday 18 (registration required) and two free public lectures the following day, Sunday 19, at Avranches town hall: on "Le village du Mont-Saint-Michel face à l'essor du tourisme et des pèlerinages (1863-1940)" (The village of Mont-Saint-Michel faced with the rise of tourism and pilgrimages (1863-1940)) by Héloïse Gibault, head of the inventory of built heritage, and on Saint Michel in stained glass (Saint-Michel and its representations in stained glass: a world of transparency) by Louise Dereux, stained glass artist and guide/lecturer.
