From 20 to 29 September, come and join the Miquelots on the «Chemin de l’Atlantique», from the south of the Vendée to Mont-Saint-Michel, and become a «Miquelot» yourself.
The September cultural walk will set off from Maillezais Abbey (Vendée), heading for Clisson, Nantes, Rennes and many new areas and little-known monuments.
This Atlantic Way, signposted from Bordeaux through the Gironde, Charente-Maritime, Vendée and Upper Brittany, corresponds to the Way of St James signposted towards Le Mont by local associations linked to Santiago de Compostela. This walk provides an opportunity to highlight the integration of the ‘Chemins du Mont’ into the national network and their expansion into new areas, in keeping with the spirit of Le Mont’s inclusion on the UNESCO list as part of the ‘Chemins de Compostelle’ in France.
Participants may take part for one or more days; a coach will take participants back to the starting point each evening, where they can collect their vehicles and head to their accommodation
