The September walk from Carentan to Le Mont from 23 to 29 September will take in the southern part of the Chemin de Barfleur, one of the two Chemins aux Anglais starting in Winchester. The proposed route crosses the Carentan marshes and then reaches Coutances, Cérences, La Haye-Pesnel, La Lucerne Abbey, Carolles, Saint-Jean-le-Thomas and Dragey.
A six-and-a-half day cultural walk, organised by the association, with visits, historical breaks, welcomes by the local communities and a crossing of the bay on arrival.
Every evening a coach takes participants back to the starting point to collect a vehicle and return to their accommodation.
Carentan is accessible by train on the Paris-Cherbourg line.
