The work, created by the commune in conjunction with the foundry workshop at the IME de Vire, will remind visitors, local residents and all walkers of the place where Saint-Sever used to stand on the old Montagne road, which has been rehabilitated by the association. A text dating from before the year 1000 recounts the passage of Miquelots along the ancient Roman road that linked Vieux-la-Romaine to Avranches. Today, their route corresponds to the Chemin de Caen via Evrecy, Saint-Sever and the Bay of Mont-Saint-Sever.<br \/>\nA superb, highly evocative piece of work, which is sure to inspire others on the Chemins du Mont...<br \/>\nWell done to Saint-Sever Calvados and Noues-de-Sienne for this achievement.
