From the forecourt of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris to the famous abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel, discover this great historic route.<\/p>\n

This guidebook (Rf 220) contains 160 pages,
\n- the GR\u00ae 22 from Paris to Mont
\n- and the Chemin de saint Michel from Verneuil-sur-Avre to Domfront, presented as an option to the Grande Randonn\u00e9e trail.<\/p>\n

This is an exemplary collaboration between the association \"Les Chemins de saint Michel\", the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Fran\u00e7aise de la Randonn\u00e9e and the local authorities through which it passes.<\/p>\n

\nOn arrival at the show, walkers had their Miquelot booklets stamped by the association les chemins de saint Michel on the stand. Paths to the stars<\/a>This was their first step on the road to Mont-Saint-Michel.<\/p>\n

In spring, in Argentan<\/h2>\n

A new stopover town on the paths of Saint Michael, with a rich and glorious past, the town hosted a number of events to mark the release of the topoguide:<\/p>\n

\nfrom 24 May to 23 June, an exhibition on the Three Mounts dedicated to the Archangel at the Tourist Office<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nOn Saturday 16 June, a cultural tour of the city<\/strong> in the footsteps of pilgrims and the signing of the stage-town agreement<\/p>\n

The accounts of the H\u00f4tel-Dieu d'Argentan and the archives have preserved the memory of the pilgrims of Saint Michael, known as the \"Miquelots\" or \"Petits de Saint Michel\".<\/p>\n

From 22 to 24 June the Randobaie<\/h2>\n

\nThis year, the 5th Rando baie<\/a> celebrated the release of the topoguide with hikes and storytelling walks on the stages described in the topoguide, and a host of events culminating in the official launch on Saturday 23 June in the presence of partners and walkers.<\/p>\n

\nWe stopped off at Verneuil-sur-Avre<\/strong> and L'Aigle<\/strong>two important stopover towns on the route.<\/p>\n

Exhibitions at L'Aigle Town Hall and Espace Saint-Laurent in Verneuil-sur-Avre<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saturday 15 September, first stop at L'Aigle<\/strong> in the company of the Mayor and local residents.<\/p>\n

2nd stop at Verneuil-sur-Avre for the inauguration of the bronze nails and the signing of the stage-town agreement<\/strong>

Leaving Acon in the morning, a group of walkers covered one of the stages described in the guidebook.<\/p>\n

The day ended with a talk by Pauline Maigre presenting the book recounting the saga of this Miquelote family and their donkey in 2011.<\/p>\n

From 23 to 29 September, final walk from Domfront<\/h2>\n

This year, our group of miquelots followed the final stages of the long route from Paris to Mont...<\/p>\n

A total of 26 Miquelots embarked on the adventure, with around ten walkers accompanying them every day.<\/p>\n

A week full of discoveries: magnificent landscapes, a majestic heritage, lands of legends and some very beautiful paths!<\/p>\n

Along the way, two towns opened their doors to us: Domfront, with whom we signed a stopover agreement, and Mortain, where we were welcomed over a friendly drink.<\/p>\n

85 Miquelots crossed the bay on Saturday 29 September, Saint Michael's Day. The event ended in glorious sunshine after the blessing of the pilgrim.<\/p>\n
