With the Pilgrims' Trail <\/a><\/em> (47 km) from Winchester Cathedral to Portsmouth harbour to join the Normandy routes from Cherbourg or Ouistreham<\/p>\n 9 stages, 202 km<\/p>\n 9 stages, 202 km<\/p>\n 9 stages, 190 km<\/p>\n 6 stages; 135 km from Amiens to Rouen and 16 stages, 360 km from Rouen to Mont Blanc.<\/p>\n 22 stages, 522 km<\/p>\n 17 stages, 370 km<\/p>\n To link the two major shrines, the Association \"les Chemins du Mont-Saint-Michel\" has signed friendship pacts with the associations of Friends of Santiago de Compostela in Anjou, Brittany, Normandy, Touraine and Sarthe. La Voie des Capitales<\/a><\/strong> crosses Brittany and the Vend\u00e9e, via Pontorson, Rennes, Nantes, Clisson, Montaigu and Surg\u00e8res.<\/p>\n La Plantagenet Way<\/a><\/strong> comes from Anjou, via Saint-James, Foug\u00e8res, Vitr\u00e9, Pouanc\u00e9, Angers, le Puy-Notre-Dame, Parthenay and Niort.<\/p>\n - The Grand Chemin montois<\/a><\/strong> comes from Saint-James, Mayenne, le Mans and Tours (320 km)<\/p>\n These routes are signposted in both directions, allowing miquelots coming from the \"south\" to reach the Mont using the Saint-Michel signposts, and vice versa, offering the possibility, using the same paths, for jacquets leaving the Mont to reach Saint-Jacques by following the Compostellan shells,<\/p>\n working with partners in tourism and culture, local and regional authorities (and the State), publishing flyers, taking part in trade fairs, educational tours, conferences, various events, etc.<\/p>\n To help you discover these different routes, the Association organises several heritage walks each year, the \"Spring Walk\", a weekend walk, without arriving at Mont-Saint-Michel, to promote a Town Departure over 2 or 3 days, and the \"September Walk\", to arrive at Mont-Saint-Michel on 29 September, Saint-Michel's Day, with each time historical breaks and visits, welcomes, meetings...<\/p>\n In response to public interest in research into pilgrimages and the cult of Saint Michael, the Association organises a one-day conference every two years, on 8 May, the spring Saint Michael's Day.
