Evrecy, Sonntag, den 23. April 2023 fand die Einweihung der Statue des Miquelot statt, die vor der Pfarrkirche aufgestellt wurde, als Echo auf die Statue von Saint-Sever-Calvados, die im Juni 2022 vor der Abteikirche von Severin aufgestellt wurde. Diese beiden von der IME fonderie de Vire gefertigten Werke verweisen auf den Durchzug der Miquelots auf dieser alten R\u00f6merstra\u00dfe von Vieux nach Avranches und insbesondere auf die Pilger aus Rouen Ende des 10. Jahrhunderts, die in einem Text aus dieser Zeit erw\u00e4hnt werden.
\nDiese Achse dient heute als Basis f\u00fcr den markierten Weg von Caen nach Le Mont. Die Einweihung wurde von der Gemeinde Evrecy im Anschluss an die Sonntagsmesse um 11.45 Uhr gemeinsam mit der Pfarrei und der Gemeinde organisiert. Anschlie\u00dfend fand ein Umtrunk im nahegelegenen Pfarrsaal statt.
